When guests enter the restaurant "Der kleine Heinrich", they can expect a rustic-maritime ambience. Traditional dishes from Holstein are served in the inn on the market square. The saying "Eat like at mother's" is program here, because many recipes come from the family cookbook of the owners Katrin van Weelden and are well-kept secrets. The large menu with dishes from the region leaves nothing to be desired: in addition to numerous fish variations, dishes from the Susland pig are also offered. Even almost forgotten Schleswig-Holstein dishes such as lilac berry soup are prepared in the kitchen and take some people back to their childhood. If you still have some room after the main course, you can try one of the delicious chocolates from the chocolate manufactory or ice cream from the neighboring village of Elskop as a dessert.
